We’re a diverse group of art enthusiasts with a shared passion for creativity. Our members come from all walks of life and have a wide range of skills and experience. At the Battle River Art Club, we celebrate growth and exploration—there’s no need to be a master artist to join. What matters most is a love for art and a desire to be part of a creative community.
What We Do
The Battle River Art Club offers plenty of opportunities to nurture your creativity, share your work, and connect with others. While we’re still growing, here’s what you can expect as a member:
- Monday Evening Meetups: Every Monday evening during the fall and winter months, our members gather for a couple of hours to work on their own projects in a relaxed, supportive environment. It’s a wonderful way to stay motivated, share ideas, and build a sense of community.
- Annual Art Show: Held on the last Saturday in April, our Art Show is a highlight of the year. Members can display and sell their work while sharing their creative efforts with the community.
- Seasonal Break: After the Art Show, the club takes a well-deserved break over the spring and summer months, regrouping in the fall to start a fresh season of creativity.
- Personalized Online Galleries: Each member gets their own page on our website, complete with a dedicated gallery to showcase their artwork to a wider audience.
- Art Supply Discounts: Members enjoy a 10% discount at Candlers Art Supplies, Delta Art, The Paint Spot, and Colours Art Supplies.
- Workshops (Coming Soon): While we currently have limited workshops, we are excited to expand these offerings in the future. Our vision is to provide classes and demonstrations that cater to all skill levels, helping members explore new techniques and mediums.
